Senior Reservoir Engineer of the PetroChina Research Institute of Petroleum Exploration & Development (RIPED) and Deputy Director of the Department of Gas Field Development, ChinaSince he graduated from Daqing Petroleum Institute in 1989, Yongxin Han has worked in RIPED and specialized in pressure transient analysis, production data analysis, and dynamic gas reservoir description. He participated in the exploration and development of several large- and medium-scale gas fields in China and completed more than one thousand gas well intervals dynamic performance study over the past 28 years. He holds a BS degree in Reservoir Engineering from Daqing Petroleum Institute of China, MS and PhD degree in Reservoir Engineering from China University of Geosciences (Beijing). He has co-published 6 books and over 30 papers in peer-reviewed journals and conference presentations about well testing and gas reservoir evaluation and development.
