Prof. YUNG Shu-Hang Patrick is the current Chairman of the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology, and the Associate Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, focused on Orthopedics sport medicine and arthroscopy surgery. He is the current Vice President of International Federation of Sports Medicine, and the Past President of the Asian Federation of Sports Medicine. He’s published over 200 scientific papers in international journals, being director of the first ever Master Course in Sports Medicine & Health Science in Asia which trained over 1200 medical professionals in the field since 2004. Professor YUNG is also the team doctor of Hong Kong team for more than 20 years and chairman of the Community Sports Committee of HKSAR government in promoting Sports for Health. He was awarded the “Ten Outstanding Young Persons of Hong Kong? in 2009, the “FIMS Fellows? in 2011, among other awards.
