Dr. Daniela Šojic Merkulov, full professor at University of Novi Sad Faculty of Sciences has strong experience in the field of application of nanotechnology in organic pollutants removal from waters by using advanced oxidation processes. She has published 38 articles in the reputable journals; and a team leader in 2 projects, in the field of environmental protection. She is a reviewer of a large number of scientific papers in international journals with high impact factor, bilateral project proposals, and National Research, Development and Innovation Office, Hungary. She has won a number of awards for reviewing in top international journals from the SCI list, Elsevier, as well as a certificate of excellence in reviewing for the journal Chemosphere, Elsevier. She was president of the Serbian Chemical Society – Chemical Society of Vojvodina. She is the lead editor of the special issue for the "Sustainable Green Nanotechnologies for Innovative Purifications of Water" from MDPI.
